After showing the documentation to date, tease out the most relevant aspects and begin to structure your process paper. In your journal, detail how you will approach your paper and what challenges you anticipate in the coming weeks
Paper:
From last week's class, I gained multiple great suggestions for my paper. Aya recommended me to write why I did not continue last semester’s idea for pre-thesis but chose a relevant but new one. Ericka and I also discussed that contemporary people does not know how to dream, to share and to reflect, and this matches to the simple aesthetics of my installation so it emphasizes my installation can provide audiences a good platform and experience to reflect. These are all great content I could include in my paper.
Challenges:
The biggest challenge I anticipate is time conflicts and tight schedules. When the semester come to an end, it won’t be too hard for my peers who only have 1 thesis class. As a BS/MS student, I have 2 more classes except thesis. Thus, balancing the time and effort between my thesis and two other finals is a really tough challenge I need to think about. After all, I have an on-campus job and I also need to job hunt for a full-time job after graduation. Hence, I need to adjust and follow the project plan, make priorities, and abandon the least crucial part if there is not enough time and find simple replacements (light & sound?)
