For the prototype, I choose to use paper and wood to build a scaled model, I first cutted out 3 big shards and 7 small ones and sticked them by glue, then, I used needle and fishing thread to hang them to the wood beam that sticked by hotglue. Then, Ziye and I tied up and arranged every shard to form the best position. This prototype gives an overall sense of how my installation would be, it would be a spatial and visual reference

After considering we are going to 3D print the winch, the fragments should not be too heavy, so tracing paper (transparent but blurry, have nice touch) attached to a wooden frame will be the final materials for the fragments
